Search your PDF for a word or phrase and swap it for something else, everywhere it appears.
Only replaces text found as a single run in the PDF (e.g. one word, or a short phrase drawn together) — it won't catch a phrase split across separate text blocks.
This tool covers the pages of your PDF with a plain box the same color as the page behind the matched text, then draws the replacement text on top — the same technique the Edit PDF tool's own text editing uses. The original text isn't removed from the file's internal structure, only visually covered, so don't rely on this for redacting sensitive information.
