Need help with a tool, or have a question about your account? We're happy to help -- most questions are answered below; if yours isn't, reach out and we'll get back to you.
Yes. Every tool is free to use. Guest visitors can process a limited number of files at a time; creating a free account raises those limits.
No, most tools work without signing up. An account just unlocks higher file limits. You can sign up with an email and password, or sign in directly with Google.
This depends on the tool -- for example, JPG to PDF accepts JPG/PNG images, while PDF to Word/PowerPoint, Merge, Split, and the others accept PDF files. Each tool's page shows exactly what it accepts and any file-size limit.
Files are processed only to perform the operation you requested and are deleted automatically afterward -- most tools delete both your upload and the result as soon as your download completes; the Edit PDF tool keeps a working copy for up to 2 hours to support your editing session, then deletes it. See our Privacy Policy for the full details.
No. Your files are used only to perform the operation you asked for -- nothing else, and nothing is used to train AI models.
Files are transmitted over an encrypted connection (HTTPS) and deleted shortly after processing as described above. If a document is highly sensitive, that's worth weighing before uploading it to any online tool, including this one.
Complex or unusual PDFs -- scanned documents, heavily designed layouts, unusual fonts, or password-protected files -- can sometimes convert imperfectly. Try the tool again first; if it still doesn't look right, contact us with details: which tool, roughly what kind of file (a scan, a design file, a form, etc.), and what went wrong. That's usually enough for us to reproduce and fix it.
Guest accounts have a lower file-size/page limit than logged-in accounts, shown on each tool's page. If you hit that limit, creating a free account is the quickest fix.
We'd like to hear about it -- contact us below with as much detail as you can (what you were doing, what you expected, what happened instead).
Use the "Log in" page's password reset option if you registered with an email and password. If you originally signed up with Google, use the "Log in with Google" button instead of a password.
Contact us below and we'll take care of it, including deleting your account information as described in our Privacy Policy.
Email us at support@pdfutility.org and we'll get back to you as soon as we can.
